Initial Contact

This first phase of the process involves a telephone interview with the organization to gather information about the transition and share information regarding available services. The goal in this initial contact is for everyone to get on the same page and gain a general comfort level regarding professional compatibility. The application for services can be completed by phone at this time if desired.

Application for Services

Through the application, the organization is able to present more detailed information for D Crosson Group to use in creating a Proposal for Services. We will ask that the organization submit the following items during this phase of the process:
  • Organization’s Mission Statement
  • Annual Budget for the organization, including sources of revenue
  • Executive Director salary amount and current Job Description
  • Organizational chart or list of staff positions

Information Review and Proposal for Services

Upon review of the application information, D Crosson Group will deliver a Proposal for Services to the applicant by email or in person. The proposal will include the monthly fee amount, the number of hours to be worked and the amount of stipend, if any.

Decision and Agreement

If the applicant organization’s Board decides to hire the interim executive director, an agreement is signed by both parties and a start date agreed upon.
